Combines, Pro Days, and The Draft

Updated: Dec 11, 2022

Combines and Pro Day are Must-Attend Events and the initial steps to play in the NBAFL. Each Franchise City will host a Combine Event and several will be hosted in the US from months of October (Brazil) to January (US) before the ensuing Draft in February. Our tryouts are broken down into two Phases Combine Day I/Phase One and Pro Day II/Phase Two.

Combine Day I (Phase One) is where players are tested in their Speed and Agility as well as Power and Strength! Players will perform similar events as that of the NFL Combine and will be broken down by their position groups. All players who attend and have registered with proper documentation (Covid-19/Vaccination Card and a Valid Passport) will be tested! Team officials may also elect to interview players during this Phase. Players are then selected based on performance and/or interest to participate in Phase Two of the event the Pro Day.

The Pro Day II (Phase Two) will be a more intense session for players Invited. They will be moved by position group through different Position Skill and Performance Drills, Medical and Documentation view and Open Team interviews as well as Team individual meetings.

By attending an NBAFL Combine players qualify to play in the ensuing year by either being Drafted an Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) Invite or through our Supplemental Draft. The NBAFL Draft will be an Annual Event spanning some 2 Days. Rounds 1 to 4 Day one 163 Players selected and Day 2 Rounds 5 to 8 163 Players Drafted and other 144 Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) Invites totaling 480 Players attending Training Camps! Drafted players are not guaranteed a Rooster Spot and must compete or face the possibility of being Cut like any other players! #futebolamericano #americanfootball #nbafl #comingsoon #combines
